Action-Packed Teaser For American Assassin

Based on the best-selling book by Vince Flynn, we’ve been treated today to the first trailer for the big-screen adaptation of American Assassin boasting the talents of The Maze Runner’s Dylan O’Brien and Michael Keaton, who will be The Vulture in this Summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Judging the gritty initial frames and its frenetic action sequences, the skills and character trajectory of O’Brien’s CIA recruit Mitch Rapp will undoubtedly draw comparisons with the Jason Bourne franchise, with the relationship established with Keaton’s Cold War veteran Stan Hurley set to be thoroughly intriguing.

Directed by Michael Cuesta who has served as executive producer on various TV shows such as Dexter and Homeland, the film hits UK cinemas on 15th September.
